Ertalle and Dallol - starting from Semera

Day 1: Addis Ababa arrival. 

Day 2: Leave Addis to Semera [capital of Afar] via Awash National Park O/N camping OR basic hotel 

Day 3: Leave Semera to Lake Afrera via Serdo ON camping 

Day 4: Morning visiting salt production around the lake Afrera and late in the morning drive to Dodome village, late in the afternoon drive further to the bottom of the mountain for an overnight stay O/N camping 

Day 5: Early in the morning start to climb the mountain, see around volcano areas for night picture site selection. You will enjoy the night with the serious eruption of volcano O/N on open air 

Day 6: Early in the morning be back to the car and drive to Hammedella village for an overnight stay O/N camping 

Day 7: After breakfast drive to Lake Assale and Dallol ,spend the day by visiting the rock salt mining, the camel caravan, and Dallol area . O/N camping 

Day 8: Leave Hammedella to Mekelle O/H HOTEL

Day 9: Fly Mekelle to Addis evening departure Or you can extend your program to the historic North and /or Tigrean churches
